TheGovernment of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh has received financing in the amount of USD 217 million equivalents from thee World GovernmBank toward the cost of the Ghorashal Unit 4 Re-powering Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds topayments for ant, goods, works and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project is under implementation andmajor contractshave been awarded for power plant construction. This Contract will be jointly co-financed by World bank, GOB andBPDB.
